We are so pleased to present a live musical performance by Juno award winning artist Alpha Yaya Diallo to celebrate Family Day, Black History Month and the opening of our new exhibit “We’ve Been Here All Along: Uncovering BC’s Black History.”

Guitarist and singer Alpha Yaya Diallo, from Guinea in West Africa, is one of the hottest acts on the world music scene. Join us and experience his melodic and diverse sounds from different regions of Guinea, including musical traditions from the Malenke, Sousou, and Diallo’s own Foulani people.
