Presented by ScotFestBC and SFU’s Centre for Scottish Studies
Dust off your kilts, grab your tartans and charge your whisky glasses for the second annual ScotFestBC Robert Burns Celebration, an online presentation in collaboration with SFU’s Centre for Scottish Studies.
Enjoy piping, poetry, sing-alongs and fiddling — just the way Scotland’s national poet liked it — from the comfort of your home. We’ll have some special performers to lead us through the virtual Ceilidh including world-champion piper Dr. Jack Lee.
Dr. Leith Davis, SFU’s director of Scottish Studies, will share historical tales about Burns while Elspeth Anjos will recite Burns’ famous poem Address to a Haggis.
Attendees have the chance to win prizes from Tartantown, Macaloney’s Caledonian Distillery and The British Store.
