Sure, there are all the usual ice cream offerings, although you can also up the ante with some Korean-style shaved ice desserts or ice cream sandwich buns or some of the most unique ice cream flavours around. Well, what are you waiting for?
Here are some amazing places to cool those taste buds in Coquitlam.
The Coffee Bun: Bite into an ice cream bun, baked fresh, with a variety of flavours to choose from including vanilla, chocolate, mango, coffee, green tea, strawberry or black sesame. You’ll find them in Henderson Place Mall.
Café Ciel: Conveniently located near Coquitlam Centre Mall, this café offers an abundance of gelato flavours.
Crêpe Delicious: Their menu offers so much more than crêpes. Your eyes may bug out when you catch sight of their frozen treats, such as the Gelato Cookie Sandwich or wide variety of gelato. It’s located inside Coquitlam Centre.
Cup Full Dessert Café: People travel from near and far for their Korean shaved ice Bingsoo, which taste as amazingly as they look. They specialize in espresso drinks and snowflake shaved ice and are located in Henderson Place Mall.
Miracle Belgian Waffle: Freshly baked Belgian waffles topped with ice cream and fresh fruit? Yes, please! Stop by during the day or after dinner for a sweet, cool treat. They’re located on the foodie strip of Glen Drive near Coquitlam Centre.
Pappa Roti: Summer calls for ice cream buns. Try their signature coffee caramel bun warmly wrapped around frozen ice cream, located just steps from Coquitlam Centre.
Passion8 Dessert Café: Locals rave about this cute café on North Road, where you can pick up Korean shaved ice desserts. They are famous for their Bingsoo (Snow Mountain) made with 100% shaved ice milk with a variety of flavours including red bean milk, Matchacha, honey berry cheesecake and more.
Wonderland Yogurt: Choose from a huge variety of frozen yogurt flavours or try their bubble waffle at this local favourite in Eagle Ridge Plaza.

Rocky Point Ice Cream: This much-loved ice cream shop is offering their famous ice cream products as well as coffee and food such as sandwiches and baked goods at Town Centre Park’s concession (located in the upgraded festival hub near the TD Community Plaza).
