Salmon Come Home

Celebrate the return of the salmon at this free family event at Hoy Creek Hatchery. Entertainment includes live salmon demonstrations, music, interactive children’s activities, food and educational exhibits.

The return is special because the salmon return to the creek where they were spawned, after living most of their adult lives at sea.  They return solely to spawn and then die. Prime viewing is middle of October through early November.
