Place des Arts’ presents the Traditional India Series, The Art of Kathak in collaboration with Bandish Network Society

Kathak dancing is a blend of technical skills, mime and body positioning. Discover the storytelling nature and rhythmic art of this classical Indian dance. Also, learn about its history and influence in popular culture through a one-of-a-kind presentation. On Saturday, April 20, 2:00-3:30 PM, learn the basics of Kathak in an introductory workshop at PdA, which can be purchased as a bundle with your Art of Kathak ticket on Eventbrite.
