Music in the Square with Luke Young Trio – Coquitlam Heritage Society

Join us for an evening of live jazz with the Luke Young Trio as they take you on a musical journey through the eras of jazz. This performance will feature a repertoire of jazz classics, from the early sounds of New Orleans jazz to the contemporary techniques and complex harmonies of modern jazz.

The trio, consisting of Luke Young on trumpet, Harold Cui on bass, and Francis Reyes on piano, will showcase their musical talent and expertise, promising an unforgettable experience for jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike.

This year we are also pleased to present an intermission performance by our Kelowna based Poet/Storyteller in Residence Lolu Oyedele! Enjoy his spoken word poetry and learn about his time with us as Artist in Residence this summer.
