Mid-Autumn Lantern Making Workshop – Coquitlam Heritage Society

During Mid-Autumn Festivities in Vietnam, children light lanterns to show Cuoi the way back to earth after being carried up to the moon.  Join instructor Kim Dinh from the Vietnam Society of Canada at Mackin House to make a lantern to take home.  Participants are encouraged to join Coquitlam Heritage Society on September 14 for the Mid-Autumn Family Day and join in the parade of lanterns to show off their creations.  $5 per person, registration required, all ages welcome.
