LGBTQ History Month Family Day
- This event has passed.
October 16, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

October is LGBTQ History Month and we are pleased to host a presentation by the Storytelling with Drag Queens Foundation.
The Storytelling with Drag Queens Foundation started in Vancouver as a program to encourage literacy in a diverse and inclusive environment by having Drag performers read stories to adults and kids. It has now also evolved to become a tool of social activism and self-discovery for young audiences and performers.
Watch the live stream from home via Zoom or in the Mackin House parlour with other families. Space is limited in the museum so register early. Masks are required for attendees to the museum.
FREE – Registration Required.
