If you’re feeling chipper, there are a host of places to dispose of your Christmas tree this weekend.
After de-decorating and clearing away any leftover tinsel, Coquitlam residents can unload their Christmas trees at Mundy Park on Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Trees can also be brought to Lot A at Town Centre Park between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Residents who would like to support Scouts Francophone de Maillardville can cart their tree to the Canadian Tire parking lot on Seguin Drive between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Alternatively, if you can cut the tree into one-metre lengths and limit branches to 10 centimetres in diameter, Coquitlam residents have the option of disposing trees into green carts, the cart lid must be closed.
