September 20, 2024 - October 13, 2024

Running September 20 to October 13, Culture Days celebrates our vibrant arts and culture scene. This year includes the kickoff of the Visual Arts Exhibition, a pilot program showcasing Coquitlam artists aged 16 and up.
Dedicated to the themes of “Inclusion” and “Growth”, their art will be featured at Maillardville and Town Centre Park community centres until January 2025.
Visual Arts Exhibition
Starting this week until January 2025, artwork will be on display at two recreation facilities, Maillardville Community Centre (1200 Cartier Avenue) and Town Centre Park Community Centre (1207 Pinetree Way). The Visual Arts Exhibition pilot program highlights the talents of local artists, and promote dialogue and cultural awareness by integrating more art into the community.
This year’s exhibition, selected by the City’s Culture Services Advisory Committee, showcases the talents of local artists through the themes of “Inclusion” and “Growth,” reflecting Coquitlam’s dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Emerging and established artists aged 16 and up were invited to participate, and selected works will gain valuable exposure in community spaces.
