Day 57

Play a game of table tennis at the Town Centre Park table games area, just south of Percy Perry Stadium. Remember to bring your own paddles and ball or pick one up at a local store! Swing by the TCP Eats food trucks on your way out for a tasty treat. You can check the food truck schedule here.

Day 58

Get your paint set out and let your brush soar! Find some rocks and paint something on them that makes you smile. Place them in your home, garden, or somewhere in Coquitlam to brighten someone’s day.

If you are in need of some paint or brushes, be sure to check out Opus Art Supplies in Maillardville.

Day 59

Visit the Fraser Mills Train Station and CPR Caboose with the Coquitlam Heritage at Mackin House – open Friday through Monday. Learn what it was like for the train crew to ride in this 1970s Caboose for long, odd working hours as their “home away from home” and tour the train station built in 1910.

Did you know Fraser Mills was one of the five stations on what is now known as the Westminster Subdivision of the Canadian Pacific Railway? Learn more at: www.coquitlamheritage.ca

Day 60

Order some some take out or delivery, hang a sheet in the back yard, and gather your most comfy pillows and blankets. It is time for a backyard movie night!

You can pick up movie snacks from your local market or grocery store, or take your pick for delivery from our list.

Also, you can pick up an inexpensive projector at Canadian Tire in Maillardville or Best Buy in Coquitlam Centre Mall.

Enjoy the show!

Day 61

Enjoy the art displayed in the windows of Evergreen Cultural Centre. The new exhibit, titled Arrangements, displays art that delves into the multiple significances held by cut flowers, ornamental gardens and wild plants to reveal how flowers act as surrogates for all kinds of ideas.

Learn more about this exhibit here.
